This Privacy Policy applies to the Shopto — Restaurant & Retail POS System mobile application (package frihbi.app) and the website shopto.app, published on Google Play by the developer Frihbi (Frihbi Enterprises Pvt Ltd). By using Shopto you agree to the practices described below.

1. Who we are

Shopto is a Restaurant & Retail Point-of-Sale (POS) application that helps businesses with billing, kitchen orders, QR ordering, inventory, GST invoicing and online ordering. Shopto is owned and operated by Frihbi Enterprises Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in India and listed on Google Play under the developer name Frihbi.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information to provide and improve the Shopto service:

a) Information you provide

  • Account details such as name, business name, phone number and email address.
  • Business data you enter — menu/products, prices, orders, bills, invoices, inventory and staff details.
  • Customer details you add for CRM, billing or delivery (such as a customer name, phone number or address).
  • Photos and images you upload, for example product or menu images and menus you import for AI upload.
  • Support requests and any communication you send us.

b) Information collected automatically

  • Device information such as device model, operating system and app version.
  • Log and diagnostic data, including crash reports and performance data.
  • Usage information about how you interact with features of the app.
  • Approximate or precise location, where you enable it — for example to tag an outlet, enable delivery features or comply with tax requirements.

You control what business and customer data you enter into Shopto. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required from your own customers before adding their information.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide core POS features — billing, KOT/KDS, QR ordering, inventory, invoicing and online store.
  • To create and secure your account and sync your data across devices.
  • To process subscriptions and in-app purchases through Google Play.
  • To generate reports, analytics and GST documents for your business.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To improve, troubleshoot and secure the app, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
  • To comply with applicable law, including tax and accounting requirements.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the service or as required by law, including with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf (for example cloud hosting, database, authentication, analytics and crash reporting).
  • Payment and subscription providers, such as Google Play billing and payment gateways, to process transactions.
  • Parties you direct us to share with — for example when you send an online order, invoice or receipt to your customer.
  • Authorities or third parties where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety and property.

5. Third-party services

Shopto relies on trusted third-party services that may process limited data under their own privacy policies, including:

  • Google Firebase (authentication, database, cloud messaging and hosting).
  • Google Play services and billing (app distribution and subscriptions).
  • Payment gateways used to accept payments.
  • Analytics and crash-reporting tools used to keep the app reliable.

6. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations (such as tax and accounting records), resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When no longer required, information is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights & data deletion

Subject to applicable law, you may:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and request data portability.

9. Children's privacy

Shopto is a business tool intended for use by business owners and staff. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Shopto after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
